SF - King David Sees Five Worlds of Kindness

“She opens her mouth with wisdom and the Torah of kindness is upon her tongue” (Mishlei 31:26)

King David saw five different worlds and sang a special song of praise to HaShem, as he experienced each world. What were the five worlds that King David saw? King David saw five different revelations of HaShem’s kindness that played an important role in his personal development. Firstly, he saw HaShem’s kindness in providing his mother’s womb to protect him and nurture him in his embryonic stage. Next, he perceived HaShem’s kindness in helping him overcome human nature. Thirdly, he saw that HaShem fashioned his mother’s breasts near her heart, so that when she nursed him wisdom flowed within him. Next, he saw that HaShem would help him overcome his enemies. Lastly, he saw HaShem’s kindness in granting him eternal life.

King David contemplated deeply on the five worlds of kindness that HaShem grants to every person. He recognized HaShem’s wondrous kindness so clearly that his soul was moved to sing a song of praise to HaShem.

Reflect on the five worlds of kindness the King David saw. Consider how HaShem also reveals to you these five dimensions of kindness. HaShem surrounds you with His kindness from your very inception, helps you succeed in this world, and ultimately grants your share in the eternal World to Come. Be inspired to sing a joyous song of praise to HaShem for His many dimensions of wonderful kindness to you.
