SF - Creativity and Kindness

Creativity and Kindness

HaShem filled Betzalel with the rare and precious wisdom of crafting the intricate vessles of the Mishkan. He was a master craftsman of gold and  silver handiwork, precision engravings, and ornamental embroideries. Creative geniuses often choose not to share their wisdom and knowledge with others. Whereas, Betzalel graciously shared his wisdom with other people. He delighted in giving others the opportunity to  participate in the great Mitzvah of building the Mishkan, the dwelling place of the Shechinah.

Less
on: Just as HaShem reveals to us many valuable secrets and lessons; so too, it is praiseworthy for us to share our wisdom, advice, and knowledge with our friends and loved ones. The more we enlighten others, the more HaShem will bless us, grants us happiness, and expand our wisdom.

Visualization: Envision Betzalel receving wisdom from HaShem and forming the exquiste vessels of the Mishkan. See Betzalel joyfully sharing his precious wisdom with whomever expressed interest in joining the holy work of building the Mishkan. Be inspired  to lovingly share your wisdom, assistance, and suggestions with everyone who could benefit from your goodness.

No entanto, onde O encontramos?

SF - Ingenuity and Innovation

Ingenuity and Innovation

Moshe Rebenu used ingeniuty and innovation to win HaShem's forgivness for Klal Yisrael's involment in the "golden calf." Instead of asking for forgivness for Klal Yisrael, Moshe asked HaShem, "Please, show me Your countenance." Why did Moshe make a "personal request" at this critical time? The Torah that Moshe received at Mount Sinai  was accompanied by a dimension of compassion that insured Klal Yisrael's welfare. This sufficed until they stumbled with the "golden calf." Moshe understood, that HaShem had additional dimensions of compassion and kindness, that would be needed for forgiveness. Therefore, Moshe prayed, "Please show me Your countenance." HaShem accepted Moshe's request and revealed the "Thirteen Attributes of Compassion," which awakened new worlds of compassion to forgive them for their sin.

Lesson: The compassion and kindness of HaShem is the foundation of the world. Just as HaShem is infinite, so too , His compassion and kindness are  infinite. The prayers and good deeds of each geneation, can always awaken new and sufficient dimensions of HaShem's compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.

Visualization: Envision Moshe Rabenu requesting to know additional dimensions of HaShem's compassion. Contemplate on HaShem revealing to Moshe the "Thirteen Attributes of Compassion," and forgiving Klal Yisrael for the error of the "golden calf." See your heart fill with new and expanding dimensions of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.

SF - Message to Klal Yisrael

Message to Klal Yisrael

We often wonder, "What message is HaShem conveying to us?" Our holy sages reveal: "HaShem says to Klal Yisrael: My beloved children, all I ask of you is that you love each other, honor each other, and respect each other; and that there be no injustice amongst you."

Lesson: We were not created to be at odds or to compete with each other. Rather our destiny is to live peacefully as the children of HaShem. When Klal Yisrael has unity and respect for each other, we are pleasing to HaShem, and deserving of His sweetest blessings.

Visualization: Envision all of Klal Yisrael -- every type -- loving and respecting each other. Make a special effort to be kind, warm, and gracious to every person. See these good virtues personified in every member of Klal Yisrael creating a sensitive, kind, and harmonious society that awakens great blessings, miracles, and redemption for Klal Yisrael.

SF - The Powerful Prayer of Moshe

The Powerful Prayer of Moshe

When Klal Yisrael found disfavor due to the blunder of the "golden calf," Moshe was overwhelmed with empathy for his people. He begged HaShem, "If you don't forgive Klal Yisrael, strike my name from the Torah! Because people will say, "Moshe lacked the merit to awaken HaShem's mercy to forgive Klal Yisrael!" At the time Klal Yisrael incurred such accountability, Moshe knew that HaShem would not be so quick to grant them forgiveness. Therefore, he pleaded to be spared the embarrassent of bearing the reputation of the leader who failed his people. Upon hearing Moshe's raw expression of love and empathy for Klal Yisrael, HaShem's mercy was awakened.

Lesson:  Just as Moshe could not bear the blame of Klal Yisrael's disgrace, so too, HaShem could not bear the anguish of Moshe's disgrace. When our love for other people inspires us to sacrifice our most cherished treasure; HaShem's compassion, forgiveness, and salvation is awakened.

Visualization: Envision Moshe Rabenu pleading with HaShem to either forgive Klal Yisrael or delete his name from the Torah! See the deep expression of love and anguish on his countenance. Transfer the intensity of Moshe's love for Klal Yisrael to the inner chambers of your heart. Be inspired to "go the extra mile" to help, pray, and plead for the welfare and salvation of Klal Yisrael
