SF - Shavuos Edition -- The Gift of Divine Love

Moshe Rabenu received two wondrous gifts at Mount Sinai. One, of course, was the Torah. What was the other? The second gift was the revelation of HaShem's unending love for Moshe and Klal Yisrael. In fact, HaShem dedicated most of Moshe's forty days atop Mount Sinai to revealing His infinite love and kindness for His creations. The Torah which is the essence of HaShem's love, is given with plentiful and abundant amounts of love.

HaShem revealed infinite dimensions of love to Moshe at Mount Sinai. Amongst them was HaShem's great love in revealing Himself and His holy Torah to Klal Yisrael. Shavuous is the most appropriate time to reflect on HaShem's love to each one of us in revealing to us the great light of Torah.

Envision Moshe Rabenu standing atop Mount Sinai. See his face filled with light as he receives masterful knowledge of the Torah. See his countenance beaming with joy as HaShem reveals His beautiful love to him. When you learn Torah on Shavuous internalize the great joy of receiving the Torah and feel the wonderful love of HaShem for you and Klal Yisrael.
