"Look, I place before you today a blessing and a curse" (Devarim 11:26). In this verse Moshe addresses Klal Yisrael for all generations with a very inspiring message. He encourages us to aspire to be like Moshe and to pursue the holy service of HaShem. We might assume that only Moshe's generation was privileged to share in Moshe's Torah, i.e., to be like Moshe. Therefore, Moshe addresses every generation, "Look I placed before you today a blessing and a curse." Meaning, Moshe conveys to each one of us, they we share a portion of Moshe's Torah. Even more, our Sages reveal that every Torah scholar has a spark of Moshe Rabenu's light.
We are all beloved students of Moshe Rabenu. When we engage in Torah and Mitzvot his holy spark illuminates our souls and uplifts us to new vistas of spirituality.
Envision Moshe Rabenu speaking personally to you:" I want you to know that you are my most special and beloved student. Please stay strong and fast on the path of Torah. Stay clear away from the negative impulse. I will always guide you, impart holiness to you, and be very proud of you.' (Based on the commentary of the Ohr HaChaim to the Torah)
