The Hidden Potential
At the beginning stage of creation, "the earth was astonishingly empty and barren." From this lifeless mass, the Creator brought forth land, water, plants, and animals. The desolate earth sprouted with every type of life, setting the stage for man, the centerpiece of creation, to thrive and develop his spiritual powers. The light of HaShem illuminates the path of goodness, giving mankind the opportunity to rectify his nature and earn eternal life. Lesson: The state of chaos and emptiness is neither final nor hopeless. It is the building block, through which HaShem establishes the wonder of existence.
