| The Secret of Optimism When HaShem created the world, He infused it with an ample and abundant supply of hope, optimism, and faith. In light of this, the creations are inclined to place their trust in HaShem for their protection, sustenance, and all of their needs. Man, especially, turns to HaShem for salvation, no matter how difficult his situation appears to be. Lesson: Hope is the spiritual oxygen that inspires man to be eternally optimistic, as the verse says, "Even when I sit in darkness, HaShem is my light."
