SF - The Ascending Holiness of Shabbos

On the first Shabbos in history, the seventh day after the creation of heaven and earth, HaShem revealed an extra dimension of His holiness to His creations. This holiness is the purist good, and it is the secret of Oneg Shabbos, the special joy and delight of the Shabbos experience. In the same way, on each and every successive Shabbos HaShem embraces the holiness from the previous week, as well as an additional dimension of holiness! Therefore, each new Shabbos emanates the holiest level of Shabbos that ever was.

Each new Shabbos is a greater opportunity to elevate ourselves, enjoy and come closer to HaShem.

Envision each Shabbos increasing in holiness, light, and joy. Be conscious that when the next Shabbos arrives, it will be the holiest Shabbos in the history of the world! When you pray, make Kiddush, and eat your festive meal with your family and friends s ense the special delight and elevation of Shabbos. .
