| Our Great Treasure One of the greatest treasures Klal Yisrael has is Zechus Avos -- the merit of our holy Patriarchs -- Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaacov. This merit stands to protect us and grant us favor in HaShem's eyes, even in times when we are not spiritually fit. However, there is a good reason why HaShem grants us the gift of Zechus Avos. We have inherited the holiness and purity of our Patriarchs, and it is embedded deeply in our souls. Therefore, HaShem extends infinite dimensions of grace and compassion to us because He knows that ultimately we will discover the inherent goodness of our being. Lesson: Just as our Patriarchs were merciful and kind to all of HaShem's creations, so too, HaShem is infinitely merciful and kind to Klal Yisrael, the spiritual heirs of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaacov! Visualization: Envision Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaacov as three Angels of Goodness protecting Klal Yisrael. Discover the inner goodness, holiness, and light that you inherited from the Avos.
