The Purim Counter Punch The Purim challenge was a "one, two punch" in the spiritual solar plexus of Klal Yisrael. Haman attacked them, proclaiming to the world that Klal Yisrael were not specially favored by HaShem. His taunts penetrated the hearts of Klal Yisrael, weakening their faith from within. HaShem sent Mordecai and Esther to remedy the situation. Mordecai bravely stood up against Haman and defended the honor of Israel. Esther acted courageously with pure and towering faith, risking her life to save her people. Lesson: When we stand tall and strong against the mocking of our adversaries, and infuse our hearts with dynamic and robust trust in HaShem -- we will triumph over all of our enemies.
