SF - The Reward of Trust for Future Desendanta

The Reward of Trust for Future Desendanta

HaShem said to Moshe. "I will make bread rain down to you from the sky. The people will go out and gather enough for each day. I will test them to see whether or not they will keep My law" (Shemos 16:4). The test was to trust in HaShem to provide their needs in the uninhabitable desert, that was devoid of food and water. In a display of extraordinary faith and courage, Klal Yisrael opted to follow HaShem into the barren desert. They trusted in HaShem to provide the "bread from sky," which He supplied one days' worth at time.

Lesson: HaShem lead them though the dangerous desert, where their only food was the daily bread that miraculously came down each day from heaven. HaShem rewarded them for their unprecedented trust in Him, so that they -- and all future generations -- were inspired to trust in HaShem forever.

Visualization: Visualize yourself walking into the desert with the rest of Klal Yisrael. Your faith in HaShem overcomes your fears of foraying into the scorching desert. HaShem rewards you for your remarkable trust in Him. What's more, trust in HaShem is awakened in the hearts of all of your descendants, forever.
