The Wonder of Creation
"You formed me like clay, and You will return me to the dust. Have You not poured me out like milk and curdled me like cheese? With skin and flesh You have clothed me, with bones and sinews You have sheltered me. You created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother's womb. You brought me forth from the womb, You made me secure at my mother's breast." (Iyov 139:13, Tehillim 139:13)
With deep wisdom, the Torah describes the great kindness of HaShem in creating our body in perfection of form and function. As well as, HaShem's favor in having brought us forth from our mother's womb by His power, and providing us with the perfect sustenance, both before and after birth.
Lesson: When we reflect on HaShem's unbounded kindness in creating our bodies, bringing us into the world, and providing for our needs, we will be inspired to love, revere, and serve HaShem.
App: Imagine if you were born without the power of sight, and a kind and masterful physician healed your eyes and enabled you to see. How grateful and loyal you would be to this person! How much more so, is it appropriate for us to appreciate HaShem, Who formed us in our mother's womb and provides for our every need!
