Com a aproximação de Purim (hoje à noite, 28 de fevereiro) traremos edições que possam nos inspirar a crescer espiritualmente com esta importante festividade.

 

        Nossos sábios nos dizem que o milagre de Purim inspirou o Povo de Israel a aceitar a Torá com amor.

 

       O milagre de Purim estava oculto em eventos aparentemente naturais que o Criador orquestrou para salvar Klal Israel. Em contraste, os milagres do êxodo do Egito foram claros e espetaculares. Por que, então, os milagres ocultos de Purim inspiraram o Povo de Israel a aceitar a Torá com amor, mais do que os milagres revelados no Egito?

 

       O povo judeu que vivenciou o milagre de Purim percebeu que os acontecimentos da vida – os bons e os não bons – são consequência de nossas ações. Eles correram grande perigo quando se afastaram da Torá e uma grande salvação quando se comprometeram novamente a cumpri-la. Esta consciência inspirou-os a aceitar a Torá com amor e ganhar uma incrível recompensa. 

 

       Os eventos de nossas vidas são milagres ocultos gerados por nossas atitudes. Percebamos como os acontecimentos de nossas vidas correspondem à nossa relação com a Torá e suas mitsvót. Dediquemos um pouco de nosso tempo para conhecer a Torá e as nossas tradições e colhamos sucesso e bênçãos incalculáveis para as nossas vidas!

SF - Kindness Awakens Love and Friendship \ Special Purim Edition

Parashat Ki Tisa \ Wednesday \ Feb. 28, 2018 \ 13 Adar, 5778

Kindness Awakens Love and Friendship \ Insight for Purim  D'var Torah: "A person's gift brings him increase; And brings him before great men" (Proverbs 18:16). According to physical law, if you give something away, you will have less. However, King Solomon teaches us that according to spiritual rules, giving precipitates abundant blessings, goodness, and success for the giver. Not only will a kind person see material dividends; he will also be blessed with many friends. Indeed, there is no attribute that causes one to be beloved as generosity. Thus, a person's gift brings him "increase" in friends. And his many friends will provide him with the most valuable of all virtues: peace of mind.  In addition, a person who shares with others finds favor, both in the eyes of man and in Heaven.   For instance, in the beginning of the book of Esther, we find that Achashveirosh made a lavish banquet for his people. Unfortunately, he served the food on vessels that were stolen from the Temple. Surprisingly, Achashveirosh, received no punishment for such a flagrant desecration of the holy vessels. Yet, when King Daryavesh, dared to use the vessels of the Sanctuary, he died.There is a critical distinction between these two incidents. Since Achashveirosh used the vessels to entertain and bring joy to others, he was protected from the Divine Justice. Daryavesh, on the other hand, used the vessels for his personal pleasure, and so he was killed.   Moral: Achashveirosh was spared because he performed kindness, even though he profaned the vessels. How much more so does HaShem bless, protect, and give increase to a person who performs pure kindness!   Application: Joyfully attend to the Mitzvah on Purim of "Shelach Manot" -- giving a gift to your friend -- with kindness, appreciation, and care. Timeless Formula of Redemption \ Insight for Purim  D'var Torah: After Haman smugly prepared the tree to hang Mordecai, he went to see how Mordecai was preparing to die. Haman found Mordecai in the Beit Midrash teaching Torah to twenty-two thousand young children, who were fasting and wearing sackcloth. Haman put the children in chains and declared, "Tomorrow I will kill these children first and then I will hang Mordecai." Their good mothers brought the children bread and water. The children swore they would not eat, they chose to go to their death while fasting. The righteous children returned to their study of Torah while weeping and crying. The wailing of the holy youngsters ascended to Heaven and the evil decree was annulled. Moral:. Even in the most trying moments we need to trust in HaShem and His deliverance. If we maintain the presence of mind to study Torah and pray, HaShem will always redeem us. Application: Gather your composure to set aside your hardships so that you can study Torah and pray to HaShem. Your trust in HaShem and your heartfelt efforts to improve your ways, will surely awaken HaShem's mercy and He will free you from all of your troubles! The Hidden Miracles of Our Lives \ Insight for Purim  D'var Torah:  Our Sages tell us that the miracles of Purim inspired Klal Yisrael to accept the Torah with love. Yet, the miracles of Purim were hidden in the seemingly natural events that HaShem orchestrated to save Klal Yisrael. In contrast, the miracles of the Exodus from Egypt were open and spectacular. If so, why did the hidden miracles of Purim inspire Klal Yisrael to accept the Torah with love, more so than the revealed miracles of Egypt?  The Jewish people who experienced the miracle of Purim realized that the events of life, both good and bad, are the consequences of our actions. They experienced great danger when they rebelled against the Torah, and great salvation when they recommitted themselves to uphold the Torah. This awareness inspired them to accept the Torah with love and gain its awesome rewards. Moral: The events of our lives are hidden miracles born out by our actions. In light of the fact that the Torah is the source of all blessings and success, Klal Yisrael accepts and fulfills the Torah with love and joy. Application:  Consider how the events of our lives correspond to our relationship to the Torah and its Mitzvot. À  LUZ  DO  MUSSÁR

      

     

Com a aproximação de Purim (no próximo dia 28 de fevereiro) traremos edições que possam nos inspirar a crescer espiritualmente com esta importante festividade.

 

 

         A festividade de Purim comemora a salvação milagrosa de todo o povo judeu do plano maligno de Haman, o ministro persa, que passou um édito real de "matar e destruir todos os judeus, jovens e velhos, crianças e mulheres num só dia".

        Normalmente quando celebramos um milagre que salvou nossas vidas, nossa felicidade está centrada no sentimento: "Estamos vivos!". Sermos salvos da morte por intervenção divina é certamente uma alegria contagiante. No entanto, há outra dimensão a se vivenciar num milagre desta magnitude e que aumenta a nossa alegria exponencialmente: D'us nos concede a dádiva preciosa da vida a cada segundo de nossa existência – e Ele quer que vivamos!

        Quanto mais refletirmos sobre a surpreendente verdade de que D'us infunde uma alma viva em nós a cada segundo, mais a nossa alegria se intensificará. Estamos vivos porque o Todo-Poderoso quer que vivamos!

        Enxergar o milagre de Purim por este prisma ajuda-nos a vivenciar o amor e a bondade impressionantes que Ele verte em abundância sobre cada um de nós e também o valor incalculável da vida!
