A LUZ DO MUSSAR


 

         A Torá relata que a filha do Faraó desceu ao rio Nilo para banhar-se, pois sofria de lepra. Ela viu uma pequena arca na qual havia um 'bebê hebreu flutuando entre os juncos'. A Presença Divina pairava sobre esta criancinha. Esticando suas mãos para aproximar a pequena arca, ela encostou no bebê e milagrosamente se curou.

       Ela viu que o bebê irradiava um brilho sagrado. Este incrível evento abriu seu coração para adotar esta criança, que conhecemos como Moshe (Moisés).

       Há uma mensagem simples, porém profunda, neste acontecimento. A Presença Divina possui um fenomenal poder de cura. De fato, quando a pessoa está na presença do 'Mestre da Cura', o processo de recuperação ocorre instantaneamente! Mais ainda: isto vale até para um idólatra. Uma vez que a misericórdia Divina se desperta, a salvação ocorre incondicionalmente.

       Quando oramos, muitas vezes nos sentimos não merecedores de receber a compaixão Divina. Embora possamos ter falhas (afinal de contas, somos humanos), ainda assim a misericórdia Divina é infinita. Se confiarmos e nos apoiarmos em sua bondade e carinho ilimitados e eternos, seremos 'curados' independentemente de nossos atos passados.

       Que possamos sempre lembrar que podemos sempre contar com a infinita bondade e misericórdia do Todo-Poderoso. E que por este mérito possamos todos obter uma imediata salvação e pronta recuperação a todos os enfêrmos!

SF - The Certainty of HaShem's Compassion

The Certainty of HaShem's Compassion "Happy are you, People of Israel! Who purifies you? Your Father in Heaven purifies you!" (Yoma) When a person is inspired to improve himself, he turns to HaShem for help and forgiveness. Yet, how do we know that HaShem will mercifully accept us? The Torah tells us, "Your Father in Heaven purifies you." Just as there is no father who does not love his son, so too, "Your Father in Heaven" will always mercifully accept  us. Even more, HaShem will lovingly purify us with His cleansing waters of spiritual purification. Lesson: There is no greater happiness than knowing that whenever we are motivated to improve our ways, HaShem immediately accepts us with the attribute of a loving and merciful Father. Visualization: Envision a child who is soiled with mud, turns to his father for help. See his father respond with compassion, and lovingly cleanse his son with fresh water. SF - Our Enemies Are "Our Bread"

Our Enemies Are "Our Bread" One of the great principles of trust in HaShem is: "No one can help you or hurt you, unless HaShem so decrees." The spies set off mass hysteria by claiming that Klal Yisrael would be defeated by the inhabitants of Eretz Yisrael. Calev courageously countered their fears by stating that the inhabitants of Israel are as "harmless to us us a slice of bread." Meaning, just as a slice of bread can do no harm, so too, the enemy troops have no power over us because HaShem decreed that we will conquer the Land of Israel. Lesson: HaShem is the King of the universe and controls the actions of every creation.  Therefore, it is inappropriate to fear or put your trust in any man. Visualization:Envision Yehoshuah leading the Jewish troops to attack Jericho. See the Kohanim blowing the Shofar as they circle the city. Envision the walls of Jericho tumbling down and the inhabitants caught by surprise. À  LUZ  DO  MUSSÁR

      

 

     

A Porção da Torá desta semana nos relata que os espiões enviados por Moisés fizeram um relato negativo sobre a Terra de Israel. Eles iniciaram sua narrativa com palavras positivas: "Chegamos à Terra de Israel e, realmente, ela emana leite e mel e seus frutos são grandes e suculentos", mas depois disseram: "porém, o povo que habita esse local é poderoso, as cidades são bastante fortificadas e vimos também pessoas gigantes".

       Apesar de terem começado com uma descrição favorável, concluíram dizendo que seria um enorme desafio conquistar as nações poderosas que lá habitavam.

       A princípio eles não fizeram nada de errado: apenas relataram a verdade com precisão. Eles realisticamente descreveram tanto os pontos positivos como os negativos.

       Dois deles, contudo, Yehoshua e Calev, viram as mesmas coisas que os outros dez espiões viram. A diferença foi que ambos enxergaram tudo através das 'lentes' de uma inabalável confiança em D'us. Aí eles disseram: "A terra que visitamos é muito, muito boa. Se o Todo-Poderoso quiser, Ele nos trará a esta terra e nos dará ela, uma terra que emana leite e mel".

       Em geral, todas as pessoas enxergam as mesmas coisas e 'coletam' os mesmos dados. A diferença reside na forma como processamos as informações. Se enfatizamos o lado bom ou o ruim, isto apenas reflete a perspectiva pela qual enxergamos a vida.

       Que possamos visualizar todos os acontecimentos de nossas vidas através das lentes inabaláveis de confiança no interesse, carinho e bondade do Criador. Ele, por sua vez, irá abençoar-nos com muitas alegrias, sucesso e satisfações!

SF - The Inherent Goodness of Man

The Inherent Goodness of Man Every human being has a spiritual purpose to fulfill in his lifetime on earth. Our mission is essentially to rectify our character traits and fill our hearts with pure goodness. Even more, to act with love and compassion to all of HaShem's creations, and to bring to life the holy Image of G-d, which is our true essence. Sometimes, we might feel that we just are incapable of reaching such a high goal. However, the Torah assures us that the Divine attributes of kindness and mercy are permanently etched into the nature of our very souls. Lesson: Since we are created in HaShem's image, it is absolutely certain that we can always attain the mastery of ourselves. App: Be encouraged by remembering that your true essence is immutably good. Keep in mind the true purpose of your existence is to to kind and compassionate - and improve yourself a little more day by day.
