SF - Reverse Bitter to Sweet

A few days after leaving Egypt, Klal Yisrael arrived at Mara, a place of bitter, undrinkable water. Moshe wondered why HaShem created such useless water. HaShem said to Moshe, "Everything that I created has a purpose. Let me teach you what to pray for in such a situation. You should pray, 'HaShem, please make the bitter waters sweet.'" HaShem told Moshe to throw a particular tree into the water, and the waters turned sweet. Several weeks later Klal Yisrael fell to the sin of the golden calf, and the Divine wrath was awakened against them. Moshe prayed, "HaShem, didn't you teach me at Mara, to pray for the bitter to turn sweet? So too, at the time of this bitter sin, rectify the bitterness and heal Klal Yisrael." HaShem accepted Moshe's prayer and showed compassion to Klal Yisrael, "HaShem relented on the harsh judgement that He thought to do to His people" (Shemot 32:14)

Every difficult situation and sin, no matter how bitter, can always be reversed to sweetness through prayer and faith.

Envision Moshe Rabenu at Mara, wondering what was the purpose of these bitter waters. Reflect on HaShem teaching him to pray for the bitter waters to be sweetened. See Moshe save Klal Yisrael by praying for the bitter sin of the golden calf to be sweetened and rectified. Strengthen your faith that HaShem can transform every bitter situation and sin into sweetness. Pray to HaShem to reverse all the bitterness of your life into sweetness. Thank HaShem for teaching you the secret of how to heal yourself through prayer. Receive HaShem's forgiveness and reverse all darkness into light.

SF - The Joy of Song

After the miraculous parting of the Red Sea, Moshe Rabenu lead the men in a joyous song of praise to HaShem. Subsequently, Miriam gathered the women and lead them in the same praises that Moshe had just recited. The Torah records Miriam's song even though it was identical to Moshes'.

Since Miriam felt deep joy for HaShem's miracle, the Torah gives her credit as if she herself composed the Az YaShir.

Review one of your favorite Torah lessons until it resonates in your soul. The joy that you feel for the profound truth of Torah gives you the merit as if you composed that lesson!

Como Mudar a Natureza?

SF - The Incemental Path to Trust

A Formula for Perfect Trust

We pray in the Shemoneh Esrei prayer, "Blessed are You HaShem, the Support and Trust of the righteous." Reliance on HaShem for His "Support" is a lesser level of faith than one who "Trusts" totally in HaShem. Yet, the path to attain trust in HaShem is built of incremental steps, like a mountain-climber ascending from ridge to ridge, until he reaches the peak. So too, with each day we "rely" a little more on HaShem, until we stand secure on the mighty mountain of "trust."

HaShem doesn't expect us to start out with the perfect trust of King David. The secret of attaining trust in HaShem is a steady climb,
advancing one step at a time.

Use each challenge as a means to strengthen your muscles of trust. See yourself advancing from reliance to steadfast trust in HaShem.
