SF - The Power of Encouragement

Moshe's father-in-law, Yisro, observed that Moshe was solely responsible for rendering all the judgements for Klal Yisrael. Yisro advised Moshe to appoint additional judges to help him perform this important responsibility. Moshe saw the wisdom of creating leadership opportunities for others. Sharing the task of judgment inspired future leaders to blossom in Torah wisdom and kindness to the community.

Delegating responsibility to other people is an effective and powerful way of helping them unlock their potential.

Encourage others to grow. Give them a chance "to step up to the plate" so they can realize their strengths and blossom with competence, kindness, and wisdom.
