Grant Life to My Soul King David prayed, "Grant life to my soul" (Tehillim 119). His yearning for life was a spiritual concern, "Grant life to my soul." In this light, Kind David asked HaShem to reveal to his soul the clear recognition of HaShem. The enlightenment of the truth of HaShem's existence, inspired his soul to praise HaShem's infinite kindness and awesome greatness.
Lesson: The clear recognition of HaShem is the only true wisdom, and the very life of the soul. Indeed, the soul's knowledge and praise of HaShem is the ultimate attainment of the human experience.
