Dear Friends,
As many of you know, our Beis Midrash, “the Salant Foundation command center,” is a special building that was dedicated to helping anyone in the community come, and learn how they can come closer to HaShem. It was used by Yeshiva students, community members, and unaffiliated Jews alike, truly uniting Jews of all types in the study of Torah and Mussar.
To our extreme sadness, last week a fire broke out and devastated our Beis Midrash. Baruch HaShem, no one was injured, but there was tremendous damage to the building, as well as many seforim were ruined.
With all the damage, we simply cannot teach, study, and spread Torah in the way we have been in the past, and are praying fervently to be able to do so again.
From the bottom of my heart, I am pleading with our friends to help us rebuild.
We ask all of our members to contribute a minimum of $1,000 to the Salant emergency fund. We desperately need to raise at least $100,000 to restore our Beis Midrash to its previous state, and every dollar will help us get closer to being able to rebuild and grow forward. Each dollar is a huge zcus
