Green frogs inundated the houses and fields, beds, and clothing of the Egyptians. It was terrible. They struck the frogs in anger. However the more they struck them, the more the frogs increased. And how did they react? They continued to strike the frogs in anger and frustration. The angrier they got, the worse their frog problem intensified. Why would they do that? Their anger was an instinctual reaction that was absolutely irrational and counterproductive.  The real victim of anger is the person himself. His frustration causes him emotional anguish and any word or act of anger will ultimately be to his own detriment.  Whenever an event occurs that evokes anger, remember that all anger is an irrational way of harming yourself. Step away from the negativity and take a deep breathe, bringing life and calm into your heart. Exhale patience, peace of mind, grace, and forgiveness.
