SF - The Primary Happines of Pesach

"In each generation, every person must view himself as if he came out of Egypt." This does not mean to relive the memory of physically leaving Egypt, because we were not there at that time. Rather, the essential redemption was the spiritual liberation that HaShem granted us. HaShem elevated us from an unholy status to holiness and purity. He honored us by appointing us to be His servants and the guardians of Torah.

The primary happiness of the Pesach celebration is the spiritual freedom that HaShem granted us -- and continues to grant us, each and every generation.

Envision HaShem freeing you from the bounds of physicality. Experience the joy of HaShem elevating you to higher levels of goodness, purity, and holiness.

(Based on the Hagadah of the Ma'aseh Nisim)

May the souls who left this world be remembered for a blessing.
