| "And HaShem said to Avram: 'Go forth from your land, from your birthplace, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you'" (Bereishis 12:1). The literal meaning of the phrase "Lech Lecha" is “Go to yourself.” In this light, HaShem was telling Avram: Go to your true self — ascend toward the beautiful goodness of your pure and holy essence. HaShem “granted permission” to Avraham to rise above the material influences of human nature and to experience his innate spirituality, wisdom, and goodness.
So too, within every person lies an inner core — the holy soul — which radiates kindness, understanding, and Divine light.
Avram was a spiritual pioneer who courageously journeyed into uncharted territory and discovered the radiant holiness and infinite potential of the human soul.
Today: Envision receiving a message from HaShem calling you to begin your own spiritual journey of self-discovery. See yourself detaching from the limitations of the material world, and elevating your consciousness to connect with the pure goodness of your eternal soul. Experience the ultimate joy — being in the Presence of HaShem, enveloped in the light of the Holy Shechinah.
