SF - # Born Anew in the # Sukah

The Talmud teaches that HaShem created the world with the letter "ה" (Heh) — one of the sacred letters that form His Divine Name. Our Sages further reveal that the power of this very letter enables a person to embark upon and succeed in the transformative journey of teshuvah (repentance).

Through this lens, we understand something extraordinary: when a person performs sincere teshuvah, it is as if he — and indeed the entire universe — is recreated anew. Moreover, HaShem radiates the Light of the Holy Shechinah upon him and draws near with even greater love and intimacy than before the sin.

Amazingly, our Sages teach that HaShem even places a special crown upon the letter "ה" — a profound symbol that He likewise places a crown upon the head of those who return to Him with a full heart.

After the cleansing and renewal of Yom Kippur, the Day of Forgiveness, we emerge pure, fresh, and spiritually reborn. HaShem lovingly invites us to step beneath the shelter of the Sukah and bask in the radiant light of His Shechinah.

Today: Envision yourself wearing a shining golden crown — lovingly placed upon your head by HaShem Himself. Feel your soul renewed and purified. As you enter the Sukah, sense the joy and closeness of standing in the presence of the Holy Shechinah.
