D'var Torah: "And Yoseph said to Pharaoh, "It is not me; it is HaShem Who will give Pharaoh peace." Yoseph did not want to take any credit for interpreting Pharaohs's dreams. Therefore, he humbly expressed to Pharaoh that HaShem, alone, reveals the meaning of dreams. Yoseph hinted that HaShem sent the dream too Pharaoh to inspire him to take precautions in the light of the impending famine. He mentioned "peace" because he wanted to reassure Pharoah that he should not be distressed over the unsettling dream. Yoseph always hoped for peace and he was optimistic that he would give a peaceful interpretation. Yoseph, sought to offer a positive interpretation of Pharoah's dreams, because since Pharaoh was was the leader it would impact the lives of so many people. Additionally, Yoseph felt the Divine Presence illuminating his soul, so he was confident that his Divinely inspired interpretation would comfort and encourage Pharaoh.
