SF - A Loving Mother \ Tomer Devorah

SF - A Loving Mother \ Tomer Devorah

"HaShem washes away the sin" (Micha 7).

This attribute of Divine compassion is incredible.

HaShem does not appoint an angel to grant forgiveness.

Instead, HaShem, Himself, grants us forgiveness.

And what is the concept of forgiveness?

"HaShem washes away the sin!"

As the Prophet Isaiah said (4:4), "When HaShem will wash the filth of the daughters of Zion."

Imagine a Mother lovingly washing her baby.

It makes no difference to the Mother whether her baby soiled herself or not.

She picks up her baby and turns on the water to just the right temperature.

She washes her with the most gentle movements until she is sparkling clean and fresh.

She holds her baby close and kisses her countless times.

Let us envision HaShem cleansing us with His love.

He is so happy that we have returned to Him.

He washes away our misdeeds with tenderness, joy, and love.

Afterwards, He holds us close and showers us with His love and blessings!
