The Torah is the wisdom of the pure words of HaShem, and the Mitzvot are the deeds that HaShem commanded Klal Yisrael to fulfill. Our Sages taught that our observance of the Mitzvot, brings us under the wings of HaShem's protection. In this light, King Solomon revealed that "A person who observes the Mitzvot will not hear any bad news." Meaning, when we observe the Mitzvot for the pure reason of fulfilling HaShem's will, we will merit His safeguarding. Just as we filter out all impure intentions, so too, our life experience will be free of all mishaps.
The more purely we comply with HaShem's commandments, the more HaShem -- the King of the Universe -- will oversee and keep us safe from harm.
Reflect on the verse: ״שומר מצוה לא ידע דבר רע.״ “A person who observes the Mitzvah will not hear any bad news.” Take a few minutes before you do a Mitzvah to purify your intention. Make your best effort to do the Mitzvah for HaShem's sake. Strengthen your trust that HaShem will always protect and your family. (Based on the commentary of Rav Yechezkel Sarna) |
