SF - When the Chips Are Down Trust In HaShem

When the Chips Are Down Trust In HaShem

When Yaacov Avinu left Israel to find a wife in Charan, he was penniless because Esau had stolen his money. Yaacov remembered that when Eliezer went to Charan to select a wife for Yitzchak, he took ten camels laden with gold jewelry for the Kallah and gifts for her family. Yaacov thought to himself, "I don't even have one bracelet for the Kallah! Should I lose my faith in the Creator? No, I will not lose my faith in the Creator!" He strengthened his trust in HaShem for success and protection.

Lesson: Even if you don't have means to attain success, don't lose faith! Keep your poise and composure. Put your trust and hope in HaShem, and He will grant you blessing and success.

Visualization: Envision Yaacov Avinu arriving empty-handed to Charan. Listen to his inner dialogue: "I don't even have one piece of jewelry for the Kallah. Am I going to give up? No way! I trust in HaShem with all of my heart and soul. He is my Creator and my Merciful Father. I am absolutely positive that He will help me to find my wife!
