🌟 The Joyous Secret: Unblemished & Alive

“HaShem does not see iniquity in Yaakov.”

(Bamidbar 23:21)

🛡️ The Ultimate Protection

This verse reveals a joyous secret: HaShem protects Klal Yisrael, in general, from committing any immoral act. What’s more, even if they temporarily stray from rational thought and commit a sin, the impurity of the misdeed is never etched into their soul.

👑 King Solomon expressed this beautifully in Shir HaShirim (4):

“You will be completely beautiful, My beloved, and no blemish will be in you.”

The Reality of Sin: A misdeed does not create a permanent, structural blemish.
The Metaphor: Instead, it manifests merely as surface dirt that is easily washed away.

❓ The Paradox

The Zohar tells us that whenever a person commits a misdeed, a spirit of impurity impacts their being.

If so, how can Klal Yisrael truly be protected from the lasting impurity of sin? The answer lies in our eternal connection to the Divine.

🔥 The Divine Flame: How We Are Purified

“You who are attached to HaShem, are alive, all of you, today.”

(Devarim 4:4)

HaShem views Klal Yisrael through the metaphor of light:

🕯️ Klal Yisrael = The Wick
🔥 The Holy Shechinah = The Flame

Because we are intrinsically bound together, the fire of HaShem immediately burns away all our impurity. Once that surface impurity is consumed by His fire, we remain flawlessly attached to our Source and merit to be truly "alive, all of you, today!"
