| Awaken the Light
When speaking about the holy Temple, HaShem states, "I will dwell amongst you." It is as if HaShem is saying, "I will come into your house." Yet, it seems the very opposite takes place, i.e., we go to His house. The answer to this mystery is the secret of man's purpose. After the creation of the world, HaShem charged Klal Yisrael with the privilege of bringing the blessing of HaShem into the world, through the fulfillment of His Mitzvos. It is as if, HaShem relies upon us to increase His Presence in the world.
Lesson: In general, HaShem is the Source of all Good, and the creations receive His beneficence. However, He has given one aspect of His power to humankind -- the bringing down of His blessings to the world.
