The Secret of Loving Others "'Love your friend like you love yourself,' is a great principle of the Torah" (Rabbi Akiva). The basis of spirituality rests on the precious attribute of truly loving others with our full hearts. In light of this, the Torah guides us on the path to attain this golden virtue. What is the way to love? Love other people "naturally" the same way that you naturally love yourself.
Lesson: Love is an instinctual feeling of fondness, warmth, and affection. The Torah wisely advises us to love others genuinely and not as the fulfillment of a rule. Rather, to love others by awakening love in our hearts, just as naturally as we love ourselves, Visualization: Envision as you speak to your friend, the love in your heart for him continuously intensifies. Open and expand your heart and experience love, warmth, and compassion for all of your family, friends, and dear ones.
