SF - The Holiness of HaShem Permeates the World

The pinnacle of our prayer service is the recitation of the Prophetic verse:

"Holy, Holy, Holy is HaShem; the whole earth is filled with His Glory."

The triple repetition of "Holy" teaches us that HaShem’s holiness not only transcends creation—it permeates it entirely. His holiness is not a distant attribute but the very essence and life force of the entire universe.

The physical world, as we experience it, acts as a veil—concealing the Divine Presence. Yet beneath that veil lies the truth: HaShem reigns over all of creation. His holiness infuses every part of existence.

Therefore, when we declare HaShem’s holiness in our prayers, we are not simply describing an abstract quality. We are affirming a reality: His holiness is present within the world around us. All life flows from that holiness.

Because HaShem’s holiness is the root of all creation, the laws of nature are entirely subject to His will. There are no true limitations in the material world. Just as HaShem suspended natural law during the Exodus from Egypt, He continues to transcend and direct all aspects of the physical world.

This truth brings deeper insight into the episode when HaShem commanded Moshe to speak to the rock. Through Moshe's words alone, water was meant to flow forth to sustain the people. But Moshe instead struck the rock with his staff. Though water still emerged, Moshe was held accountable because he failed to sanctify HaShem’s name.

Why? Because striking the rock gave the impression that physical force was needed—as if the rock had a will of its own that needed to be overcome. This concealed the deeper truth: no part of creation can resist the will of HaShem.

Today: Know with certainty—there are no limits to the miracles HaShem can perform.
