Why wasn't the unprecedented miracle of the Red Sea sufficient, on its own to convince Yisro to believe in HaShem? An open miracle like the splitting of the Red Sea is extraordinary, but there is no proof that open miracles will reoccur in the future for Klal Yisrael. Whereas, the defeat of Amalek, was a real battle that Klal Yisrael fought with bravery and courage. The miracle that occurred for Klal Yisrael through nature, will surely happen time and time again in the future! Lesson: The countless miracles that HaShem has performed for Klal Yisrael through natural means, is irrefutable proof that HaShem will constantly perform great miracles for us in all future generations.
