SF - Infinite Worlds of Compassion

Infinite Worlds of Compassion

Could there be a greater act of accountability than building the golden calf at the foot of Mount Sinai? While Moshe was receiving the Torah from HaShem, some of the people were enticed to  worship this false idol. Moshe Rabenu quickly took up the challenge to save Klal Yisrael. He pleaded with HaShem to expand the boundaries of compassion. HaShem accepted Moshe's request. He revealed new worlds of mercy and forgave Klal Yisrael.

Lesson: Moshe, the greatest Prophet, knew that HaShem has ever expanding dimensions of mercy. Therefore, even in the face inexcusable behavior, he knew that HaShem would forgive them with new levels of His infinite compassion.

App: Keep resolutely strong in your faith that HaShem has infinite levels of compassion. No matter how foolish the deed, HaShem will always respond to our efforts to amend our ways with His endless supply of mercy.  Be assured and optimistic that He will unequivocally accept your prayers and forgive all of your misdeeds.
(Based on Da'as Torah of Rav Yerucham of Mir)
