"This is the law of the Torah" (BaMidbar 19:2).
Torah study fills our hearts and souls with spiritual sweetness. Even more, the holiness of the Torah permeates our being, so that no impurity can influence us. Conversely, at the time of death the soul ascends to Heaven, leaving the body vulnerable to the impure forces, which are attracted to the sweet remnant of Torah. This explanation sheds light of the verse, "This is the law of the Torah." Meaning, the Torah decrees that as long as a person is alive, the sanctification of Torah protects him from all negativity.
Lesson: The sweetness of the Torah continuously imparts within our hearts powerful measures of holiness, joy, and spiritual protection.
Visualization: Envision Moshe Rabenu engaging in Torah study. See the light of holiness shine on his countenance. Sense his deep joy, true wisdom, and inner peace. Reflect on the fulfillment that Torah study gives to you. Fill your soul with the holiness of Torah, inner joy, and tranquility.
