In this weeks' Torah reading, HaShem instructs Moshe to take a census. The tribe of Binyamin was numbered at 45,600 souls, while the tribe of Dan had 64,000 souls. Yet Binyamin had ten sons, whereas Dan had one son, Chushi, who was hearing impaired. Nevertheless, HaShem blessed Dan that his offspring should be fruitful.
