Transform Adversity to Goodness
Nachaum Ish Gam Zu was a righteous Sage, who lived about two thousand years ago. Whenever something ostensively "bad" happened to him, he always said, "This is also for the good." He knew that since HaShem is absolutely good, anything that HaShem does must be good. Whenever he met hardship with the declaration of faith, "This is also for the good," the seemingly negative event transformed to a great goodness!
Lesson: By expressing our steadfast trust in HaShem, we transform adversity to goodness.
App: Greet unexpected difficulties with trust in HaShem's goodness and say, "This is also for the good" -- and connect the difficulty to the pure goodness of HaShem.
