The Secret of a Good Teacher
"An impatient person should not be a teacher." (Avos 2:6)
One of the most important characteristics of a teacher is a good disposition. A teacher who has a short-fuse will intimate his students and discourage them from asking questions. Whereas, a compassionate teacher responds to all of his students questions with abundant patience. These fortunate students will thrive in the love of their teacher and advance in their studies.
Lesson: The composure, friendliness, and patience of a teacher creates the supportive environment necessary for his students to succeed.
App: When you teach, instruct, or explain something to another person -- relate to them with calmness, encouragement, and kindness.
