The Beauty of the Day After Yom Kippur
On the day after Yom Kippur we enjoy a special closeness to HaShem. When a person performs repentance, according to the best of his ability, HaShem rewards him for his effort. Not only does HaShem forgive and cleanse him. Even more, He brings him close to the holy Shechinah and grants him a special light in the eternal Gan Eden.
Lesson: When a person does teshuvah, HaShem fully recognizes his efforts to improve and loves him even more than He did before he sinned.
App: Stay focused on the mercy, forgiveness, kindness, and love of HaShem that surrounds you today -- and every day! (Based on Tomer Devorah, Ch. 4, Rav Moshe Cordovero) We Are Still in Day of Rachamim Grasp the incomparable merit of kindness and support the Salant Foundation. Just as you show mercy, so too, HaShem will bless you with His blessings of mercy for two thousand generations, or forty thousand years!
What a great way to start the New Year.
Thank You!
