SF - The Ultimate Passion

The Ultimate Passion

"And you will rejoice in all of the good that HaShem, your G-d, has given you" (Devarim 26:11). "Good" refers to Torah. If we would sense the sweetness and pleasantness inherent in every word of Torah, we would be passionately enthusiastic over the Torah.  All the gold and silver in the world would be meaningless to us because Torah embraces the complete scope of true goodness.

Lesson: Torah is the ultimate pleasure because it is the ultimate goodness for the body and the soul, in this world as well as in the eternal dimension of Gan Eden.

Application: Light up your soul with the fire of Torah -- enjoy its  beauty, truth, wisdom, and holiness.
(Based on the commentary of the Ohr HaChaim to the Torah)
