Our Merciful Father
HaShem is the Merciful Father of all His creations, as per the verse: "How great are Your works HaShem, You have made them all in wisdom." Indeed, HaShem is the Lifeforce of all the living. Our Heavenly Father has constant compassion on all of His creations.
Lesson: Just as HaShem, is a loving Father, so too, it is appropriate for man to emulate HaShem and lovingly care for all His creatures. Especially for the holy souls of Israel.
Application: Pray for people who have troubles, as if they are your very children. Visit the lonely, seek out those who are absent, heal the broken hearted, support the needy, and bring back those who have lost their way. (Based on Tomer Devorah, Rav Moshe Cordovero, Chapter 3)
