| The Esteem of Klal Yisrael
"He counts the number of stars and He calls each one by name."
[Tehillim 147:4]
HaShem counts the many stars and calls each one by name. Although the stars are as numerous as the grains of sand upon the earth, HaShem values each and every one. The Torah compares Klal Yisrael to the stars because HaShem esteems each and every member of His people. What's more, HaShem cherishes Klal Yisrael far more than the stars, because He created our souls from pure holiness.
Lesson: Since every Jewish soul is beloved to HaShem, He will be sure to save each one of us at the time of our redemption. HaShem will gather every single Jewish person from the four corners of the earth and call each one of us by name.
App: Be confident that HaShem will soon bring the redemption. Trust that HaShem loves you and will lovingly call you by your name when the redemption occurs.
