The Stones of King David
King David chose five stones from the brook when he prepared to fight Goliath. Miraculously, he delivered a fatal wound to the giant's head with one of the stones. The five stones represents the unity of HaShem, found in the five words, "Shema Yisrael HaShem Elokenu HaShem" followed by "Echad" or "One." The five books of the Torah also allude to the unity associated with "Shema Yisrael," as well as the five sections of the book of Tehillim, the Psalms of King David.
Lesson: King David attained clarity in the Unity of HaShem. His awareness that nothing exists without HaShem's will, gave him the merit to nullify Goliath's power and to triumph over him.
Visualization: Envision King David saying "Shema Yisrael" and concentrating on the Unity of HaShem, as he hurls his stone at Goliath. (Based on the commentary of RaMad Vali to Tehillim)
