The Secret of Attaining Wisdom
"Not everyone who engages in business becomes wise." (Avos 2:5) A person who wants to become wise, must broaden his activities beyond the business realm. Even if he is astute in business, he has not yet attained true wisdom. The Torah advises him to also help the community. Attending to various aspects of enriching the lives other people, such as helping the poor, strengthening the education, and visiting the sick, sharpens his mind and enhances his understanding of life. Lesson: When a business person also strives to help his neighbors, HaShem blesses him with additional wisdom to enable him to improve the life of his associates and friends. App: Receive the blessing of wisdom from Hashem by actively helping your community and its members.
