You Are Children to HaShem
The Torah reveals that HaShem considers Klal Yisrael His beloved children, "You are children to HaShem." In light of the special relationship that we enjoy with HaShem, our life experience is unique. Since HaShem, our loving Father, always embraces us with His unceasing love, there is no reason for us to ever despair. Even if we suffer a great loss, G-d forbid, it is not appropriate to for us to show excessive anguish. The realization that HaShem, our loving Father, is always with us, resuscitates our spirit and gives us hope, comfort, and strength.
Lesson: Since we are "children to HaShem," Who lives forever, it is never appropriate for us to be utterly despondent. The awareness that HaShem loves us continuously renews our hope and optimism.
Visualization: Envision a baby in the arms of his loving mother. She cuddles her baby and tells the baby countless times, "I love you! I love you! I love you." See yourself as a child in the "arms" of HaShem, Your loving Father. Hear Him constantly say to you, "I love you!" "I love you!""I love you!"
