A Tranquil Soul "I have calmed and quieted my soul like a suckling babe beside his mother; my soul is like a suckling babe" (Tehillim 131:2). After a baby nurses from his mother, calmness and contentment permeate his being. He doesn't worry whether there will be more milk available in a few hours. King David's heartfelt trust in HaShem filled his inner being with tranquility. "My soul is like a suckling babe" -- I am content with HaShem's unbounded kindness, I have no worries about the future. Lesson: From our inception, HaShem continuously bestows upon us kindness and compassion. Feel the joy and contentment of receiving His boundless blessings and banish all notions of worry. Visualization: Envision a nursing infant. See him laying next to his mother in perfect contentment and tranquility. Contemplate on the goodness of HaShem that surrounds you with kindness, love, and mercy. Strengthen your trust in HaShem and fill your soul with tranquillity and peace.
