Since HaShem is infinitely wise and good, everything that He decrees is flawless. If so, what is the purpose of prayer? Sincere prayer spiritually elevates man. As a result of man being uplifted by prayer, HaShem considers him a new creation. In light of his new status, HaShem grants him new dimensions of love, opportunities, and miracles.
Lesson: By coming close to the holiness and light of HaShem through prayer, man reaches increasingly higher levels of spiritually -- and connects to the wellsprings of HaShem's blessings.
