The Tranquility of Trust
"Be for me a sheltering rock to which to come at all times; You commanded my redemption, for You are my rock and my fortress." (Tehilim 71:3)
King David instilled three powerful pillars of faith within his heart. First, he prayed, "Be for me a sheltering rock." Then he expressed his confidence in HaShem, "You commanded my redemption." Then he confirmed his absolute trust in HaShem, "Your are my rock and my fortress." King David overcame all worry by continuously strengthening his faith in HaShem.
Lesson: When a person places his faith and trust totally in HaShem he converts worry to joy, and HaShem blesses him with every manner of good.
