SF - Nurturing the Souls of Our Children

Nurturing the Souls of Our Children

"Generation to generation will praise Your deeds, and they will speak of Your mighty actions." (Tehillim 145)

The character traits of young children needs refining. The most powerful way to influence our children is by being a positive example. Our children's spiritual senses are best awakened when they hear their parents acknowledge the existence of HaShem and praise His goodness! As a result, the child will be inspired to recognize  the presence and goodness of HaShem, and to follow His ways of goodness and kindness.

Lesson: Praising HaShem is the most powerful way through which a parent can uplift his or her children and stimulate their holy  souls.

Visualization: Envision King David expressing his joy and gratitude to HaShem each day. Inspire your children to be aware of HaShem's goodness, and act with sensitivity and kindness to others.
(Based on the commentary of Rav Moshe David Vali)
