SF - Grow Confidence from Within

Rabbi Akiva taught: "Beloved is man to HaShem, for he was created in the image of G-d. An even greater expression of this love is that HaShem made it known to man that he was created in His likeness, as it is stated, 'For in the image of G-d, He made man.'" (Pirkei Avos 3:18)

For many, self-worth can feel elusive. But the Torah reveals the foundation of authentic personal happiness: a deep, unshakable awareness of our inherent value. True self-worth emerges from contemplating three profound truths revealed in the Torah:

We were created with the beautiful attributes of Divine goodness, reflecting the very goodness of HaShem Himself.
This Divine goodness within us makes us eternally beloved to HaShem. Our inner goodness is not earned—it is implanted within our soul by HaShem.
HaShem didn’t merely create us in His image—He made this truth known to us. This revelation adds a further layer to His love, affirming our worth in His eyes.

The awareness of HaShem’s boundless love is the foundation of healthy self-esteem. Nothing affirms our true worth more deeply than knowing that HaShem cherishes us—not for what we do, but for who we are: reflections of His goodness.

Today: Imagine receiving a personal message from HaShem, telling you, “I love you because of the goodness I placed within you.” Take a moment to thank HaShem for creating you in His holy image. Let this awareness inspire you to walk through life with dignity, joy, and a heart full of gratitude—knowing how deeply loved and valued you are.
