HaShem’s boundless compassion is powerfully revealed in the miraculous formation of a child within the mother’s womb. From a single drop, a complete human being is formed—endowed with a pure and holy soul. This awe-inspiring process is beyond comprehension. It can be likened to a man who entrusts his friend with a simple silver basket. When he returns to retrieve it, his friend surprises him by handing back a golden basket instead. How could he not be filled with gratitude and amazement? The very fact that we exist—alive, aware, and able to think—is among the greatest miracles of HaShem. We owe Him immense thanks for shaping us into living, sentient beings with the potential for holiness and purpose. Today: Shabbos is the ideal time to pause, reflect, and thank HaShem for the wondrous and compassionate gift of your creation.
