Life Giving Smile
"In the light of the countenance of the King is life" (Mishlei).
When a person sees his dear friend or beloved relative, he smiles with joy. So too, "the light of the countenance of the King" alludes to the joy and love that HaShem has for Klal Yisrael. It is comforting to know -- and truly amazing -- that HaShem "smiles" upon us constantly. In fact, our very life radiates from the light of the perpetual smiling countenance of HaShem!
Lesson: Nothing is as beautiful as a smile. It beams a magnificent message of joy and acceptance. A smile has the power to put your friend in a good mood, infuse him with optimism, and fill his heart with joy of being loved.
App: Give your best smile throughout the day. Greet people with your beautiful smile -- and give them life!
