Renew Your Spiritual Awareness
The beauty and perfection of this world clearly reflects the presence of its awesome Creator. The blue sky above, the light of the glorious sun, the fruit bearing trees, the wonder of intelligent man, etc., all demonstrate that HaShem created the universe. However, familiarity with the world from our infancy diminishes the impact of this perception. The special quality of the Beis HaMikdash was that it renewed our spiritual awareness to recognize the presence of HaSHem in His beautiful world.
Lesson: The Beis HaMikdash was a microcosm of the world. The holiness that permeated the Sanctuary opened our senses to experience the Living Creator.
App: Envision that you enter the Beis HaMikdash filled with the Light of HaShem. Allow the perception of HaShem's holy presence to permeate your being and fill your soul with joy.
